Events are highlighted on the day they occur. Simply click on the date to view information regarding that particular event. 14TH ANNUAL MARY REIMER MEMORIAL RODEO
Check out Hinton's signature rodeo event this August long weekend (July 30, 31 & August 1)! Free camping! Gate admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors/children(7-17 years), FREE for children 6 and under.
Friday night events include the local cowboys and cowgirls starting at 5pm. Check out the packhorse race, the relay race, the double barrels, the rescue race, the bloomer race, the poles and the ladies steer undecorating. There will be a family dance with music from Bam Music.
Saturday and Sunday Pancake breakfast from 9-11am. Events start at 1pm and will include: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Jr. Barrels, Bareback, Wild Cow Milking, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Jr. Bull Riding, Pee Wee Barrels, Jr. Steers and the Ernie Muldoon Memorial Pack Horse Race.
Saturday night events includes the Alberta Mounted Shooters Assocation at 5pm. Dinner ($12) will be from 5-7:30pm and the rodeo dance will start at 9pm with live entertainment featuring Johnny Rocket and the Shooting Stars. Advance tickets are on sale for dinner and dance for $10.00 at the Huckleberry General Store. Tickets at the door are $12.00
