DR. DUNCAN MURRAY RECREATION CENTRE Home to a 25m swimming pool, along with kiddie pool, hot tub and steamroom, public showers are also available. There are two arenas in the facility with public skating times in the winter. There are indoor courts for squash, racquetball, walleyball, and basketball. Located adjacent to the recreation centre is a world class skateboard park. The Hinton Municipal Library is also located within the facility. · Call 780-865-4412 for hours and events. Located at the Hinton Training Centre, the Forestry Service Museum displays many interesting artifacts - self-guided. This historical building that was once the Hinton Grand Trunk Pacific (GTP) Railway Station House will house an Intrepretive Centre. It was also be used as an historical interpretation and education centre, an artifact document planning area, and meeting space.
