CANADA DAY FESTIVITIES
An annual tradition put on by the Town of Hinton – the festivities include fireworks the night before Canada Day, followed by a pancake breakfast, a parade and activities in Green Square.

Föhn Festival
This annual festival showcases Hinton’s multiculturalism with dancing, food, dress and other performances.  This event is held every July long weekend (Canada Day weekend) - June 30th and July 1st.

MARY REIMER MEMORIAL RODEO
This annual rodeo has been running since 1996 and takes place at the rodeo grounds in Mary Reimer Park located in the Valley District of Hinton.  The rodeo takes place on August long weekend every year and is host to cowboys and cowgirls from all over Alberta!

MAYOR’S CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
This annual event takes place in August and allows for local charities to raise money by hosting the golf tournament.

MOUNTAINVIEW TRIATHLON
Test your endurance at this annual sporting events held every year on the 1^st Sunday of June.

MS BIKE TOUR
The Mountain Tour takes place near Hinton, AB in the beautiful William A. Switzer Provincial Park in September.  Ride your bike for a good cause during this 2 day event.  Takes place every year the weekend following Labour Day.

TERRY FOX RUN
Another great annual event that takes place in September and raises money for a great cause.  Walk, run or bike 5km for The Terry Fox Foundation.

WILD MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Born in July 2008, this music festival is destined to be an annual event, showcasing musicians from BC and Alberta.  Check out www.wildmountainmusicfest.ca for details.

WINTER MAGIC FESTIVAL
This annual event run by the Town of Hinton occurs every February and brings everyone together to enjoy the last of winter.  Events include ice skating, tobogganing, maple syrup treats, the Bonhomme Carnival, etc.

YELLOWHEAD ROTARY ARTS FESTIVAL
This annual festival showcases artists of all sorts from around the West Yellowhead region.
